Atira Women’s Resource Society is standing behind its CEO despite evidence of systemic conflict of interest with B.C. Housing\u0027s former CEO.
“In light of there being no findings of wrongdoing by anyone on its executive, Atira’s board will not terminate its senior executive team or any of its members on request from B.C. Housing with one day’s notice,” Kim wrote.
The damning report found that Ramsay repeatedly flouted the conflict of interest agreement set up in 2010, the year he married Abbott, that said he was not to be involved in decisions related to Atira. Ramsay has not responded to a request for comment. When reached for comment yesterday, Abbott said she didn’t have a copy of the final report. Kahlon said Atira was given a copy three weeks ago.
The boards said Atira “co-operated fully” with the Ernst and Young auditors and “provided all requested information, including accounting records and our full general ledger.”
