Twitter's new CEO Elon Musk discloses documents which show the former management of the company censored news about US President Biden's son before the 2020 presidential election
The released records, which seem to be censored emails from Twitter staff members, explain why the tech giant decided to bury the story in the final days of the 2020 presidential campaign.
"By 2020, requests from connected actors to delete tweets were routine. One executive would write to another: 'More to review from the Biden team.' The reply would come back: "Handled." Taibbi also made another revelation, tweeting that "White House spokeswoman Kaleigh McEnany was locked out of her account for tweeting about the story, prompting a furious letter from Trump campaign staffer Mike Hahn.
