Discussions about a transatlantic tunnel linking London and New York have been ongoing for a while. While initially estimated to cost $25 trillion, Elon Musk believes his company, The Boring Company, could construct it for significantly less. Musk expressed confidence on X (formerly Twitter) that the tunnel could be completed for 1000 times less money, potentially enabling travel between the two cities in under an hour.
