The Edmonton Elks will look to stay alive in the race for third place in the West Divison as they visit the Toronto Argos on Cisn Country 103.9 FM.
Edmonton Elks quarterback Tre Ford runs the ball as B.C. Lions' Mathieu Betts and Woody Baron chase during first half CFL action in Edmonton on Friday, September 22, 2023. He’s moved his team into playoff contention — albeit barely — Tre Ford has provided the Edmonton Elks and their beleaguered fans with something much more tangible: hope for the future.
“Obviously you want to know that you still have a chance but either way, you have to have a sense of urgency for yourself and what you’re playing for,” Lewis said. The 12-2 Argos will provide a difficult test for the Elks as the double blue are the number one rush defence in the league and have given up the second-fewest points in the CFL.
Defensive back Marcus Lewis is likely out for the season with a calf injury, Donovan Olumba will make his season debut at the wide-corner spot.
