It would make sense for Warren to back Sanders; they do, after all, align on many progressive views, such as their shared support for “Medicare for all,” even if their thoughts on how to pay for it differ, and they’dbefore the 2020 race heated up in earnest. Still, if there’s one thing this dizzying election season has taught us, it’s to expect the unexpected. All we can do now is wait and see what the Warren camp has in store.
