An 80-year-old woman passed away following a collision between two vehicles in Vaughan, Ontario, on Sunday. The incident occurred at the intersection of Dufferin Street and Major Mackenzie Drive West, and the victim was a passenger in one of the cars involved.
A woman in her 80s has died following a two-vehicle collision in Vaughan on Sunday afternoon, say police. The victim, who has not been named, was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the crash, York Regional Police said. They said that the victim was transported to the Mackenzie Health hospital in Richmond Hill where she was pronounced deceased.The crash happened at the intersection of Dufferin Street and Major Mackenzie Drive West.
Police said they were called to that area at around 1:17 p.m. The major collision unit now is looking into the collision and the intersection remains closed as they investigate. It is expected to remain closed for some time, they said
