Obituary: Edwin L. Artzt, a P&G CEO known for harsh criticism of managers and a clampdown on leaks, has died at 92
Edwin Artzt, who expanded Procter & Gamble Co.’s global reach in the 1980s and then, as chief executive officer in the early 1990s, rattled the company’s managers with cost-cutting drives and harsh criticism of their work, died April 6 at the age of 92, the Cincinnati-based company said.
