Thirty\u002Done new cases of COVID\u002D19 were identified in Alberta Sunday
Alberta has confirmed a total of 7,704 total cases of COVID-19 throughout the global pandemic.

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw has said a large number of cases in the area have been linked back to community gatherings where infected people have gone on to unknowingly spread the virus further.
She said that a large number of cases in the province have been traced back to an original source, helping the province to contain further spread.Greta, a bar near 109 Street and Jasper Avenue, confirmed on its Facebook page Sunday that it is temporarily closing after a regular customer recently tested positive for COVID-19. The post says the customer was sitting for some time at a table on June 14 with a number of staff.
“With an obvious spike in cases within the community, the Pint Downtown has chosen to remain closed today, Sunday June 21, to allow our staff to get tested and evaluate their health for symptoms, before they return to work and we return to operations,” read a statement posted to the bar’s account.Article content continued
