On March 9, 2021, McMillan was charged with assault with a weapon after a 19-year-old woman was allegedly attacked at a motel near 151 Street and 111 Avenue. Five months later, on Aug. 9, 2021, police said McMillan and the same woman were allegedly involved in another violent incident at a different motel near 168 Avenue and 118 avenue. The woman was allegedly attacked with a weapon, threatened and forcibly confined to a motel room before escaping the next day, police said.McMillan was supposed to attend court on Aug. 17, 2021, to face the charge from March of that year, but he never showed.
In an attempt to find McMillan, police partnered with the Bolo program, which amplifies requests for public assistance to find highly sought suspects. A reward of $50,000 was offered for information leading to McMillan’s arrest, but was not awarded in this case, police said.
