“The agent had been looking for that buyer who was out of the country for months and months,” she said. “They wanted to be in that specific area because they had friends or family there. “It’s unusual to get an overpriced offer when they’re not in competition. But in this market, we’re seeing it more and more.”The home has roughly 1,370 square feet of living space, including a kitchen, dining area and living room.This 62-year-old house on a 75- by 130-foot lot was given a recent facelift with new roofing, siding, windows and front door, as well as an upgraded double garage by the back patio.
