Emergency crews raced to the scene on Granton Mains Brae in the capital on Tuesday afternoon
Edinburgh firefighters have been seen battling a huge house blaze in the city on Tuesday as flames ripped through the home.
Dramatic footage taken at the scene shows heavy smoke and flames escaping from doors and windows on both floors of the dwelling. Fortunately, the fire was contained to the house and did not spread to neighbouring properties. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it was on site for three hours while crews addressed the inferno.
