This summer, Cleveland Metroparks will instead focus on its new concert concept, which will offer five concerts in five different locations around Northeast Ohio. Those locations include Wildwood Marina, Squire’s Castle and Stinchcomb Memorial.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Metroparks’ popular Edgewater Live and Euclid Beach Live concert series will not take place this summer. Instead, the Metroparks will host Sounds of Summer, a live music series which will rotate across Cleveland Metroparks’ various spaces.
Jacqueline Gerling, the Cleveland Metroparks’ director of communications, confirmed that the two beachfront concert series have been nixed for 2022. Like Edgewater Live and Euclid Beach Live, this summer’s schedule of events will feature local bands and food trucks. But unlike the two series, none of the Sounds of Summer shows will take place at Edgewater or Euclid Beach -- and instead of taking place every week, the events are set to take place once a month. The Sounds of Summer lineup includes ‘80s cover band Billy Likes Soda, reggae group Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band and R&B group The Level Up Band, according to a press release.
