Just 48 years old, John Tomlinson of Echo Bay died after experiencing a medical emergency along the highway near Massey
Even though the outcome wasn’t what anyone wanted, an Echo Bay woman is thanking the people who stopped to try and render assistance to her husband who was in medical distress and ultimately died.Benjamin Roswell, of Sault Ste. Marie, was also travelling on the highway and stopped when he noticed John had pulled over and fell out of his truck.
”I was wondering if anyone knows how he is doing or what hospital is in that general area that would take someone who was having a heart attack. I was thinking about him and if he was ok,” said Benjamin in the Facebook post. Sarah said her husband was a generous man and she believes if the roles were reversed, he would have stopped to render assistance.
