The City of Sault Ste. Marie says the following facilities will be closed during the Easter holiday period – Friday, April 7 to Monday, April 10:• City Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot• Public Works and Engineering office – 128 Sackville Rd. For 24-hour emergency service requests, call 705-759-5201.There is no garbage or recycling pickup Friday, April 7. Friday’s garbage and recycling collection moves to Saturday, April 8.
The city’s Household Hazardous Waste Depot will open to the public for the season beginning April 18 and will operate Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Marina – Bellevue Marina seasonal boat launch passes are for sale at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre Community Services office . The cost is $69. Cash, debit, credit card is accepted. Passes can also be purchased online.
John Rhodes Community Centre Pool – The pool is open holiday hours Easter weekend. Parent and Child/Lane Swim 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and public swimming 1:15 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 8 and Monday, April 10. Regular programming Saturday, April 8 and Monday, April 10.
