The average price for a home in East York was $1.1 million in July 2022, according to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. That’s down 14.2 per cent or $182,786 from June 2022 and down 12 per cent or $151,060 compared to July 2021.
Detached houses averaged $1.27 million, down 11.8 per cent or $170,170 month-over-month and down 10.8 per cent or $154,022 year-over-year. There were 22 detached house sales after an average of 10 days on the market and 71 active listings at the end of the month. Attached houses averaged $797,500, down 31.4 per cent or $365,500 month-over-month and down 35 per cent or $429,333 year-over-year. There were two attached house sales after an average of 11 days on the market and zero active listings at the end of the month.
