Thaddues Williams, 39, who previously pleaded guilty to the fatal shooting of Aieshia McFadden on Dec. 4, 2020, must serve at least 17 years before becoming eligible for parole. He was sentenced Friday by Hudson County Superior Court Judge Vincent J. Militello.on July 26. He was initially charged with murder; possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose; unlawful possession of a weapon; and criminal sexual contact for “touching the victim inappropriately.
“The defendant in this case chose to violently cut short the life of a young woman, leaving behind her children, family, and friends,” Felix said. “We thank the court for its service and hope this sentence provides comfort and healing to the victim’s loved ones.” She was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at approximately 9:10 p.m.
