In fact, Dwayne Johnson’s $23.5 million upfront salary for the upcoming Sony SNE, -3.32% sequel “Jumanji: The Next Level” has swung him to the top of Forbes’ 2019 list of highest-paid actors for the second year in a row.
Oh, and the “Fast & Furious” actor rakes in seven figures in royalties for his Under Armor UAA, +1.23% line of clothes, shoes and headphones. Half of the men on Forbes’ list of best-paid actors are from Disney’s DIS, +0.24% Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Chris Hemsworth/Thor in second place with $76.4 million in earnings, and Robert Downey Jr./Iron Man in third with $66 million. Bradley Cooper/Rocket Raccoon, Chris Evans/Captain America and Paul Rudd/Ant-Man are a little further down.
