Durham police will be on-hand at the Pickering Town Centre to mark Ontario’s Crime Prevention Week.
The community safety branch and auxiliary unit will set up a booth near the #3 entrance between November 7 and 11.“We want residents to think about how they can protect themselves, their families, neighbours, and workplaces from crime,” noted officials. “Whether crime occurs in the home, on-line, or involves fraud, the theft of a vehicle, physical assaults, or bullying, there is always a victim or group of victims.
