Drunken driver arrested after boat crashes into Missouri home injuring 8: reports

The boat hit the ground and a house, then flipped over, ejecting all of those aboard. Six of them were seriously injured.

Also, according to the report, none of the passengers – four men and four women ranging in age from 21 to 51 – were using safety devices during the ride through the central Missouri reservoir. All passengers were transported by EMS to a local hospital.

The crash occurred just before midnight Saturday at the 1.3 mile mark of the Osage Arm of Lakes of the Ozarks, according toTravis Coleman is the owner of Tow Boat U.S. at the Lake of the Ozarks, where his team responded to remove the boat off the house with a crane. At the time of the incident, two people were asleep in the house when the boat hit the home. Fortunately, the occupants weren’t injured.
