A driver in Ontario was arrested after intentionally colliding with another vehicle on Highway 11. Police used a spike belt to stop the suspect's vehicle. The Temiskaming OPP is seeking dashcam footage of the incident.
Ontario Provincial Police officers from the Temiskaming Detachment made several attempts to stop a driver police say intentionally contacted another vehicle causing a collision on Highway 11 north of North Bay shortly after 1 p.m., on Monday, December 30. Police then deployed a spike belt to stop the suspect's vehicle and the driver was arrested. There were no injuries reported however the driver was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
The incidents occurred on Highway 11 and Highway 65 in the Temiskaming Shores area. Temiskaming OPP is seeking assistance from the public in locating video/dash camera footage concerning collisions and erratic driving involving a white Toyota Rav 4 SUV.
