The driver had run from the scene when police arrived, but witnesses pointed officers in the direction of the 1300 block of Avenue O South, where the driver was arrested without further incident. Police said officers found two knives on the man, one that was spring loaded. The man now faces charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident, evading police, possession of stolen property over $5000, and breach of conditions.
