Temperatures today will be slightly warmer than yesterday, and we may even manage a peek or two of sun this afternoon.

Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says a few showers roll in this evening/tonight, then temperatures free-fall. The high temperature on Friday will be early in the morning and temps will fall through the day. We’ll be in the 50s Friday morning and the 40s by afternoon.

On deck for Friday night & early Saturday, a hard freeze watch and wind chill advisory will be in effect for all of NE Florida, including the beaches. Both Christmas Eve & Day mornings will be in the 20s with teens inland. We stay sunny but cold each afternoon with highs in the 40s.Early Monday will remain bitter cold but sunny and dry and still chilly with temperatures in the low 50s.
