'Dragon Quest X Offline' has been delayed for the Nintendo Switch.
Square Enix has announced that they will be delaying their upcoming game Dragon Quest X Offline. This delay also includes a delay for the upcoming downloadable content The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally.
The announcement came from producer Takuma Shiraishi, who explained that the delay isn't due to any huge development issues. Rather, the game got delayed so that they can make final adjustments to it, in order for it to be released as polished as possible. While this will be disappointing to fans that were looking forward to the original February 2022 release, it's good to know that the team wants to make sure that players get a great experience of the game from the start.
The game is now set to release sometime during the summer of 2022, with an exact release date to be revealed later. The DLC for the game has been pushed back to fall of 2022. When it is released, Dragon Quest X will be available on the Switch, however, there is still no word on a release for the game outside of Japan.
