Jennifer Macpherson, Saribel Deslauriers and Logan McNeil make up the Downtown Truro Partnership staff team. - Chelsey GouldTRURO, N.S. — Two community-focused organizations – the Downtown Truro Partnership and the United Way – have recently made some big moves in the downtown area of benefit to their work.

Deslauriers mentioned that people are already referring to it as “the purple house” – a hard to miss landmark.

“Normally would be overflowing in our office,” said Madore. “Right now, we can actually have a couple of tables set up and we can separate all of it here in our space. We have the actual capacity to do it here as opposed to having to go somewhere else and spread out.”
