With the snow melt unveiling a season’s worth of debris, Downtown Sudbury is ramping up its downtown cleanup program to help things back up to snuff
The spring snow melt has uncovered a season’s worth of debris, prompting Downtown Sudbury to ramp up its downtown cleanup program.
The Downtown Sudbury effort is in addition to ongoing efforts of the city, including its annual springtime clean-up blitz slated to take place from 9-11 a.m. on May 6. Participants are required to register by April 28, by clicking here. This program, called Welcoming Streets, would be available for the business community to connect with and relieve certain calls from Greater Sudbury Police Service.
Drawing from a recent conference with other downtown organizations, MacIntyre said what Sudbury has experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic is in keeping with what many other communities the world over have seen.
