Individual involved in Saturday evening accident was alert but required medical attention and was stretchered from the scene
At least one person was taken to the hospital after a collision at the corner of Queen Street East and Elgin Street slowed traffic Saturday evening.
One vehicle involved in the incident took significant damages to its front end. It is currently unconfirmed what the vehicle collided with. An individual who was alert required some medical attention at the scene and was eventually stretchered into an ambulance. The extent of their injuries is undetermined at this time.
The right lane of traffic on Queen Street East near Elgin Street was blocked off while emergency crews took over the scene.
