Dow snaps 4-session winning streak
U.S. stock benchmarks on Tuesday closed mostly lower in a bumpy session, as investors digested news on trade and awaited a policy decision by the rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee due Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.10% finished down 0.1% at 25,887, on a preliminary basis. The decline marked the first for the blue-chip gauge in the past four sessions. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 index SPX, -0.01% ended flat at 2,833, while the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, +0.
