The Cape Breton-born Stone, a founding member of Port Cities with Dylan Guthro and Breagh MacKinnon, has evolved over the last 10 years into a truly exceptional singer-songwriter.Having heard him play a couple of times now both as a solo act and as a member of Port Cities I can’t say I’m surprised by that.
Much is made of the trappings of success, the money, the glamour, the parties and the attention you receive, but the flip side of that, as anyone one who’s been in the business long enough can tell you, is strained relationships, exhaustion and the temptation to overdo it in just about every aspect of your life.
