I wanted to learn the courses,” Barron explained. “And I felt like by doing what I did … I don’t really watch a lot of PGA Tour golf, and that’s no knock against the PGA Tour. I just can’t relate to those guys who are hitting it 340 yards, and the courses are so different now than when we played ’em.
