Donations from Kelowna arrive safely in Ukraine

“It’s a relief,” said Anna Dimitrov, a Kelowna resident who was born in Ukraine. “To know that it actually safely arrived, to people in need in those parts of the war zones, just warms my heart that it’s there and people who need it the most have access to it.”“I think we all, as humans, we resonate with it,” she said. “And, as Canadians, we have a good history of empathizing. Usually, that’s what you’re associated with, so it’s a great relief to know that we are part of it.

Pavlina, along with all the volunteers, including Dimitrov, were all blown away by the response from community members.
