Weekly Friday night ceilidhs are at the Seniors Circle Club in St. Peter’s Bay at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5. A fiddle and step-dancing show will be held Sept. 4, 2:30 p.m., as part of the Evangeline Area Agricultural Exhibition and Acadian Festival) in Abram-Village. The Ross Family Ceilidh is Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m., at The Guild in Charlottetown. Contact the venue’s box office.

Ceilidh in the City is Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m., in the air-conditioned Jack Blanchard Centre, 7 Pond St., Charlottetown. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Taking the stage Sept. 7 are Keelin Wedge and Christine Cameron. Admission is $15 per person at the door. The Egg Farmers of P.E.I. Close to the Ground Concert Series with hosts Fiddlers' Sons and Keelin Wedge continues Sept. 1, 8 p.m., at the Kaylee Hall, Pooles Corner. There is a canteen and 50-50 draw with CDs and books for sale. Admission is at the door. The musical guest is Tara MacLean.

Summer in the City Music Series, featuring Adam MacGregor, is Sept. 3, 3 p.m., at Founder’s Hall on the Charlottetown waterfront. Music is at St. Louis Community Centre, Sept. 4, 7 p.m., featuring Peggie Arsenault, Mike Gallant and Denis Larocque. Admission is $5.
