The 27-year-old appeared in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings in relief."We fully support all measures being undertaken by the commissioner's office pursuant to the policy of domestic violence. We support this policy which reinforces that domestic violence has no place in our society and cannot be tolerated.

With the move to place German on administrative leave, the Yankees brought up righty pitcher Michael King to the active roster.
