'Domestic situation' involving family members ends with man being fatally shot in northeast Houston
Houston police officers responded to reports of a shooting around 10:55 p.m. in the 8000 block of Chateau and found a man with a gunshot wound, Cmdr. James Bryant said.
Houston police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot Friday night following a"domestic situation" in northeast Houston.According to HPD's preliminary investigation, the shooting resulted from a domestic situation that became lethal once the suspect and victim came to an armed standoff.The suspect fled after the shooting, but police were able to locate him.
It's unclear if the suspect will face any charges for the shooting as police are at the"very beginning of the investigation," according to Bryant.
