A man who reported his dog being stabbed in Toronto's Yonge Street and Ramsden Park area has been arrested. Police determined that the complainant allegedly made a false statement and was responsible for the attack on his own dog.

Police said the complainant told them that a man armed with two knives stabbed his dog several times while they were out for a walk.
