No one was more shocked than 6-month-old Cookie the French Bulldog after her foot was caught in a kitchen sink drain.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a residence in West Palm Beach, Florida Tuesday to discover the small dog's foot trapped in the drain.
The entire extrication took over an hour, fire rescue said. One crew worked on removing the drain from the sink, while another unit used their tools to cautiously cut the remaining metal from around the paw. Photos taken at the scene show a wide-eyed Cookie and multiple crews surrounding the small animal, working to set her free.
