The Downtown Association’s executive director is an Algoma University-trained composer, pianist and vocalist who might be willing to try his hand at making a downtown radio jingle

Directors of the 200-member business association agreed at their August meeting to review their name and logo, and even to consider writing and recording their own catchy radio jingles.

That prompted other board directors to reminisce about an old "walk about it, talk about it," jingle. "I would also encourage, if we could somehow reach out to the community to see how we are perceived within the community, to let them have their say, because I think people do love this downtown. And I think right now we're taking some hits."
