That’s turned out to be an issue for some models of Durango SUV, forcing Dodge to issue a recall.not be aligned correctly with the vehicle’s roof, which could lead to the spoiler becoming damaged when the rear liftgate is opened and closed.

A total of 139,019 Durangos built between October 2020 and February 2023 are potentially affected and are . Owners will be contacted starting April 14 and asked to schedule a visit to their local service department to have the spoiler checked.the issue is related to an assembly problem, rather than a faulty part, and isn’t currently aware of any accidents or injuries that have resulted from the spoiler making a break for freedom. But the risk of the wing detaching is a real one. Dodge has identified eight customer assistance records, 56 warranty claims and one field report relating to the issue.
