New Doctor Who Ncuti Gatwa attends the BAFTA TV Awards 2022 and discusses becoming the first main black Doctor in the show's history
Ncuti Gatwa has attended this year's BAFTA TV Awards ceremony alongside Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies after it was confirmed that he will will take over from Jodie Whittaker as the Time Lord. It was revealed that the 29-year-old will become the 14th Doctor on the popular BBC show, after Whittaker announced last July she will be leaving the role in the autumn.
