Speaking with Variety during San Diego Comic-Con, Gatwa hinted at what to expect regarding new monsters and characters in Doctor Who season 15. The star maintained some vagueness about what the upcoming episodes will entail, but indicated how their inclusion will help make it a step up from the previous season. Season Two felt like a chance to flex the muscles properly. So exciting. You’re fueled by the writing and by each new story, each new monster, each new addition into our world, there’s many in Season Two. It’s just the fun of the show. I think that just drives you growing into the character.
