A 34-year-old doctor on vacation with his fiancée has died in Spain after he slipped and fell while hiking, according to a GoFundMe page created on behalf of his loved ones.
“It’s a horrible end to a beautiful romance,” she said of his death, noting that Sirovich was due to marry her 28-year-old daughter next year after getting engaged in 2016. Kelly added that the avid travelers were in Ibiza after a music festival they planned to attend in England was rained out, prompting a last-minute getaway.
“He was moving to Boston in 10 days for the position he waited so long for, to be a doctor in the intensive care trauma unit,” friend Gui Ramos wrote on the GoFundMe page. “Someone who saved many lives didn't receive the opportunity to have someone save his... “ “Unfortunately it takes something in this scale to happen, to remind us how there are good people out there willing to help those when they need it the most,” an update on the page read after donations flooded in.
