Improvements in DNA testing allowed police to test a blood spot that police say linked the man to the killings.
Michael Anthony Louise, 79, of Salina, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022 and charged with killing his inlaws in 1989 in Vermont. Syracuse, N.Y. — A central New York man was arrested Thursday and accused of killing his in-laws in 1989 in Vermont, police said.
Police said Louise stabbed the couple multiple times in their home. There was no sign of a break-in and nothing of value had been taken, police said. With the improvements in DNA forensics police were able to confirm a spot of blood found in Louise’s car belonged to George Peacock, police said.
