Distributor FUGA Italy Marks First Anniversary With Planet Records Deal

FUGA Italy has struck a new deal with Planet Records, the Latin-focused indie label and distributor that works with stars like Daddy Yankee, Pitbull and Prince Royce.

The global digital service deal, which covers Planet Records’ core roster of Latin American and European acts, comes just over a year since FUGA expanded into Italy with offices in Rome and Milan. In its inaugural year of operation, FUGA Italy has secured more than 40 new clients.

"We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver advanced and innovative solutions for rightsholders which help them successfully nurture their independence and thrive in the streaming era.”

The FUGA platform, launched in 2008, is now connected to more than 260 DSPs worldwide and manages 4.5 million tracks. The company's technology will allow the Planet Records label to maintain its independent ethos, also supplying white-labelling capabilities for Planet Distribution.
