Within days of moving into his Airbnb while working an internship in Dallas, Zayne Watson received an eviction noticed. From there, things didn't get easier, despite the calls to Airbnb.
When the person he rented an Airbnb from got a vacate to notice, a college senior Turned to Ted for help with a refund.Zayne Watson got a great internship last summer in Dallas. But, since he's from The Woodlands, that meant he needed a place to stay for a few months."I'm here, he's in Dallas. I'm just hoping that everyone is doing their job," his mom, Cindy Watson, told ABC13's Ted Oberg.
But, it wasn't Zayne's landlord. The family showed ABC13 receipts showing how they rented the property from Airbnb and paid thousands already."We were catching the tail end of the eviction," Watson said.
