AT&T’s WarnerMedia and ViacomCBS are exploring a sale of jointly owned U.S. broadcaster CW Network, according to the Wall Street Journal on Jan. 5 citing people familiar with the matter.
Nexstar Media is one of the potential buyers, according to the Journal. One possible outcome is that Nexstar takes a majority stake in CW with WarnerMedia and ViacomCBS as minority owners.
