Patrick Dempsey spends most of Disenchanted singing and dancing, which was something pretty new for him. The sequel is on DisneyPlus Friday.
\nDisenchanted comes to Disney+ this week, starring Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel, reprising their roles from the first film, and Gabriella Baldacchino join the cast. Also in are Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, and Oscar Nunez. Adam Shankman directed the film. During a recent press conference for the film, Dempsey went a bit into detail about what it was like for him to step outside his comfort zone by singing and dancing his way through the film.
'\nAfter being teased by Shankman and Adams about wearing a tunic, he continued: 'You know, it's a great opportunity to play something that was so broad. I don't get that opportunity, and I really loved it. It's a little scary at first. But, you know, it's great. It was a safe environment to work in, and it was fun to play, and hopefully, people enjoy that.
