PUC Services Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance to provide strategic direction and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company and its affiliates. This role involves leading the finance team, developing and implementing financial policies, analyzing financial data, and working closely with senior leadership to drive the company's financial strategy. The Director will also promote a high-performance culture, identify and communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in core financial processes.
Director , Finance will provide strategic direction and ensure the financial health and sustainability of PUC Services Inc. and its affiliate companies.• Lead the finance team, developing and implementing financial policies, analyzing financial data, and working closely with the senior leadership and the executive team to drive the company's financial strategy.
• Identify and communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders.• Drive continuous improvement in core processes, leverage technology to streamline operations, increase efficiency and improve internal controls. • Oversee the timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyzes them for internal and external stakeholders.• Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting and a professional accounting designation are required.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations, with sound knowledge of IFRS and PSAB.• Proven experience in a senior leadership or executive level role with a focus on strategic planning and execution. Utility experience is an asset.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and adapt to evolving business needs.
