Dallas-Fort Worth has a rain deficit of over 12 inches this year. Next week looks to bring a pattern change that could help out the situation -- for some, at least.Temps will remain warm through the end of the weekend with afternoon highs climbing back into mid and upper 80s. Still no rain this weekend, but a few more clouds will be around than we've seen lately due to tropical moisture. Dallas-Fort Worth has a rain deficit of over 12 inches this year.
But if the rain and storms from Wednesday/Wednesday night departs quickly enough, scattered showers and storms may linger into Thursday morning leaving the rest of the day dry. You'll see all of these rain chances reflected in the 14-day forecast. The other thing you'll notice? Cooler weather as we approach Halloween.
The timing and depth of the cold air is still a question, but right now, a more significant shot of cooler air does look to be on the horizon. The winter weather outlook has been released. What does it mean for DFW?
