Developer Henry S. Miller is planning a $35 million rental community in Ferris south of Dallas.
Casitas Shaw Creek will include more than 200 apartments in six buildings.A Dallas developer is headed south to the Ellis County town of Ferris with a $35 million project.is building the Casitas Shaw Creek, a 204-unit rental community planned to start early next year. The more than 11-acre development is west of Interstate 45 between FM 664 and FM 893.
The apartments will be constructed in six, three-story buildings. The rental community will also include a fitness center, lounge, pool and dog park. “We are excited to bring this high-quality mixed-use development to Ferris,” Miller Co.’s Steve Donosky and Hal Watson said in a statement. “Casitas at Shaw Creek will meet the growing demand for attractive housing options in this area as well as provide needed retail services to the residents and community.”
