The road will be closed to approximately 35 days beginning May 1.
The work is part of a resurfacing project from Huntington Place to Main Street.The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Friday that an approximately 35-day detour is planned on Church Street in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, so a curve in the road can be realigned.
A detour will be in place using Main Street/Harrisburg Pike , Route 741 , Route 23 , and Stony Battery Road .
