The Seawolves are set to begin the 2023 campaign with big shoes to fill coming off an offseason that included notable losses via graduation and the resignation of their head coach.

“I think my style of coaching is still highly competitive,” she said. “We’re still here trying to win championships.”Meisner believes that any good coach is going to “stay true to their personality” and has put an emphasis on being “more personable” with the players. Having open conversations about their expectations and goals help them stay on the same page and headed in the same direction as a team and overall program. “We lost four really great players from last year,” Meisner said. “Eve and Ellen were obviously All-American players but also we lost Talia Leauanae as a libero and Lisa Jaunet as an outside hitter.”
